Okay you guys…
Since there were some SupaNova posts on my dashboard, it just reminded me that I should continue working on my Splicer costume :/ Ooh, and also, I know at this rate it would be too late, but next year, I’m planning to be The Once-ler in his green-suited glory :D Dunno how that would work though; I mean, of course, I would need a bit of guidance since I’m not really experienced in textiles :P I would ask one of my friends for help, since she’s into textiles and whatnot.
Anyway, who’s going to SupaNova Sydney? If you are, look out for an asian in a Splicer costume :P
You know what sucks?
How I wanted to be the Once-ler and Splicer at SupaNova and planned to switch in bewteen costumes after an hour or so. Turns out that it would get a bit too hectic, and I had to do the Splicer costume.
But now I wish that I could do that Once-ler costume; I just bought a hat for my costume, but I’ve gone so far on my Splicer costume ;-;
…OR! I could do a Once-ler costume but not at SupaNova, and just for fun and whatnot. THEN I’d take photos! :D Would anyone here like that?
I’m no good at distinguishing accents.
But during the cutscene with the first Little Sister encounter in BioShock - and I know this was only a few seconds - I think the Splicer had an Australian accent |D Awesome. But yeah. I like how BioShock is partially created in Australia, haha :)
The 30 Day BioShock Challenge - Day 26.
Day 26 - Splicer who looks most like you
There aren’t many female splicers, unfortunately. But I guess the only one who vaguely resembles me is Baby Jane. Haha…there isn’t much to choose from.
Well, maybe not the body itself, more on the face actually. This was the only closest Splicer to vaguely resemble me, and well, that sucks. There really should be more female Splicers in the game. The only ones are Baby Jane and Lady Smith. But yeah, if only there were more female Splicers in the game. That are swagless. And asian. And likes classical music :/
Which Splicer was it? Raaagh.
Which Splicer was the one who says “No fuck-ups this time!” Can’t remember :P
Okay, I’ve got it.
From what I’ve heard, a couple of people switch between one cosplay to another (actually, I knew that from reading from weebstories, haha, but anyway). So here’s what I’m gonna do.
It won’t that risky, but anyway, I’ll try to do that at SupaNova.
A few of you know that I’ll be a Splicer this year, but the second cosplay is going to be the younger Once-ler from The Lorax movie. I would say that both of the costumes are virtually similar (the clothes for the Splicer costume I’m making will be based on the Toasty model; I’m not wearing a dress, I look shit in dresses, LOL :/). In fact, the Once-ler costume would be simple; It’ll be just like the Splicer costume, but not bloody. Plus, he’s wearing garden gloves and a fancy-as-fuck trilby |D
Anyway, I’ll do the switch-over after one and a half hours into the convention, or earlier. I might as well get a haircut when it’s June or May to make the costume a bit accurate. Ideally, I’d have to put it in a similar style to the Once-ler’s. Don’t know how that’ll work though, since I’ve got wavy hair :/
I like the Jesus song that the Splicers sing.
I don’t know why - it’s oddly funny, but haunting.
Okaaay. Cosplay dilemma from SupaNova. Aaagain.
First, I wanted to be Floyd Pepper from The Muppets. THEN I wanted to be GLaDOS, after playing Portal.
Now…I want to be a Houdini Splicer from Bioshock.
…I WILL STICK WITH THAT DECISION, AND NO SECOND THOUGHTS!
Besides, I’d assume that it would be easily to do…I think, haha.
